Rebling Plastics and Remcal Products Company employ a staff of senior design engineers with diverse backgrounds ranging from electronic and electro-mechanical design to high speed mechanism design coupled with decades of knowledge in plastic, metal and rubber materials. Working within your requirements, we develop and provide fully detailed CAD drawings of your components and assemblies with the ability to procure, inspect, assemble and test. Several of our existing customers rely on the Rebling/Remcal team for these services enabling them to focus their in-house resources on marketing, selling and distribution.

Remcal Products and Rebling Plastics have successfully provided this turnkey approach to several companies from diverse markets. A few years ago, a well respected manufacturer of musical instruments decided to outsource several critical assemblies and selected Remcal for this project. This led to Remcal redesigning an existing assembly which improved reliability and manufacturability. Remcal continues to provide these assemblies to this company.

Remcal Products Company recently entered into an agreement with a major international corporation to provide End of Life Product Support. In 2005, Remcal helped this company avoid a $6,000,000 end-of-life buy on a single subassembly by providing a Remcal engineered alternative. Remcal is now considered one of only a few strategic suppliers to this company.

Inventory Management: Most companies strive to simplify their purchasing and keep inventory levels down. One way to accomplish this is to allow Rebling Plastics to perform secondary operations to the plastic injection molded part. We often purchase mating parts and assemble them, saving our customers from multiple orders and carrying inventory. We have two ultrasonic assembly units that can be adapted for any part that we can mold. Ultrasonic plastic welding is an efficient way to bond two plastic parts together or to insert a metal component into a plastic part. We also routinely perform secondary decorating, testing and machining operations.

In addition to secondary operations, we will work with our customers to meet their part demand schedules. Many of our customers use blanket orders and inventory management systems such as kanban and vendor managed inventory to accomplish this. We will customize a stocking program to meet any customer needs.
